If you are an individual, you still need to complete a W-9 with your SSN information.

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is a document issued by an insurance company or its authorized representative. The certificate provides information about the insurance policies in effect, including policy types, coverage limits, and policy dates. Newport requires a COI with $1,000,000 in coverage for all vendors working on site. We do not require a COI for material suppliers.

Once you have gathered all of the above documents, the next and final step in your vendor registration is filling out the vendor registration online form. Here you will enter all business and contact information. You will also attach all documents listed above. Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an email from us notifying you of your approval to begin work.

We require $1,000,000 in liability insurance and workers compensation insurance for all vendors that work on site. If you are a material supplier, you still need fill out the vendor registration form and submit a W-9, but you do not need to supply a certificate of insurance.
No, once you are in compliance with us, you can work on any project, in any state.
NO! You cannot even step foot on a property until you have received the vendor approval email from us. We have very specific obligations to our owners, one of which is making sure they are protected from any occurrences on their property at all times.
